    About Richa Tripathi 

Initilly I started my career as a HR recuiter in one construction firm. And I was a really enjoying it. 

And then I will say magic happened to us,  my son saksham. 

                                 

            I decided to quit my job instead of taking maternity leave. I have already decided not to go for job again as I want to spend my time seeing my son growing and learning new things daily. But then also in my free time there was nothing to do. That's when I decided to something of my own from home itself and in which I had interest since I was kid. Yes that interest was doing craft with creativity of my own. I started it as my hobby but just to know the response 

        I started posting my creations on social media and had placed stall in 3 fares and  I got good response there. I started with decoupage bottles but then I decided to explore other areas of this field as well. And till now I have delivered around 8-10 different product with added creativity. 

So, I am looking forward and ahead to my journey of creation. I have lot of time for my son and my craft work. I woukd like to thanks to all who supported me and have been a part of my journey till now. Hoping many more will be added in coming future.  So keep watching my post and heavenly handmade creation.

About Shreya Shimpi

I am Dr Shreya Shimpi and I stay in badlapur( mumbai). I am a dentist by profession and I practice in the mornings. Decoupage is my passion and I am so glad to have learnt it!

                          My evenings are spend doing all the decoupage projects and its such a real stress buster. It helps me channel my creativity so well.

                       I never intended to take it up commercially but seeing my art on FB a lot of people started giving me orders and I had to take it up and my baby venture ‘Dolce Delights’ was born and is now blooming beautifully!

Art is indeed gratifying and they say Love thy Art and I absolutely love this art form. Just a few months ago my decoupaged box went to the actress Sonam Kapoor and I was on cloud nine. Apart from this I love canvas painting, chocolate making and also like to write blogs

                    Also, Nagashri Arts is an amazing online portal and Nagashri herself is so helpful and encouraging. Its because of sweet people like her that crafting becomes fun.

                                                   

                          I believe in ‘ doing more of what makes you happy’ and I love arts in any form😇

About Priaa Krishnani 

It's feel good to craft, I got introduced to world of paper crafting through paper quilling. Since childhood I was keen towards drawing and painting. I was HR by profession, but an artist by heart. After leaving my job, I spent my time in crafting and learning decoupage and fell in love with it. Back then it was just a hobby. Slowly I started learning different art forms and techniques. I now deal with wide variety of crafts.

Mixed Media projects with beach theme using brand zero products

I love beaches and I thought showing my love for beaches through my project is much easier for me . 

So , today I am sharing my new post on how to decorate any box with shells .

All the materials use in these products are used from nagashri arts. I will mention all the supplies used in the project.

First I applied white gesso with sponge on the box  and gave some time to let it dry and then stuck the shells randomly on it using adhesive or  you can also use glossy accent.

Next colored the box with metallic paints and brushed with gold metallic paint .

Next colored some stones with gold metallic paint and stuck randomly then added metal butterfly and flowers . 

Next made 2 butterflies with hot glue gun and stuck them , one on the metal butterfly charm and other on the side. Finally sprayed blue and brown spray mists and finished my box for product details hop on to www.nagashriarts.in .

Mixed Media Tags using brand Zero products

Hi friends, Priya again from priyas studio , sharing my gdt project for nagashri arts.  Today's project is very interesting as I have used the brand's Zero mdf tags of different shapes and sizes and made one big, layered mixed media easel tag.

All these beautiful mdf bases are available at nagashri arts's website. I will share the link at the end of the blog for all products. So without much ado let's start the process.

Firstly I took 3 tags an oval, a small rectangle, and a long pentagonal shape. I added different textures by stencils and texture paste using pallete knife .

Next, I stuck a few chippies in the background and added the tags one over the other.

Then, I stuck a fabric embellishment on a metal filigree and stuck that in one corner and added a key there ( you can add MDF keys as well ).

Next painted the whole arrangement with black gesso and then brushed raw umber and ancient gold metallic paints ( you can select other shades as well ) along with few sprays of royal blue sprinkle mist and immediately mixed the blue with few brushes of white gesso .the result was denim blue. Again added gold paint.

Finally painted 2 metal flowers with rust paint, stuck metal Brad's in the centres and stuck to my mdf tag base.

In the end, just tied twine on the tags and it was complete.
